Shrinkray Terms of Use

Hey there! Welcome to Shrinkray, a little tool we built to make videos smaller without the hassle of uploading them. By using the site at https://shrinkray.pixelabs.net, you're agreeing to these simple rules.

1. How it works

Shrinkray processes your videos entirely in your own web browser. The video itself is never uploaded anywhere. Because it runs locally on your device, how well it works and how fast it goes just depends on your own computer or phone.

2. No promises

We built Shrinkray to be helpful, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise it'll work perfectly on every single device or with every weird video format out there. We also can't guarantee you'll always love the compressed result (since making videos smaller means throwing away some quality).

3. If things go wrong

Since the tool runs entirely on your device and we never touch your files, we can't be held responsible if something goes wrong, if a file gets corrupted, or if you don't like the result. Please always keep a backup of your original videos just in case!

4. Be cool

Please don't use Shrinkray to do anything illegal or to infringe on other people's rights. You're completely responsible for whatever videos you choose to process.

5. Third-party stuff

Shrinkray uses some great open-source tools, including the Mediabunny library. These have their own open-source licenses, which you can find in our repository. Any third-party links (like "Buy Me a Coffee") are governed by the terms of those specific platforms.
